THE PRESENT

Chartered by the Rotary Club of South Burlington, our scouts come from South Burlington, Burlington, Hinesburg, Essex and Williston; with the majority of our members coming from South Burlington.

Our scouts meet two to three times a month with their den and join the other dens at the monthly pack meeting.  To allow for flexibility in light of competing interests and activities, our pack does not have a set meeting time for our monthly pack meetings.  Many of our monthly pack meetings are held on a weeknight at the Tuttle Middle School cafeteria, but we also hold pack meetings at alternative locations depending on the event or function.

Cub Scouting is a family centered program designed with fun in mind and character building as the goal.  Our dens have volunteered at the food shelf, learned about cooking in a hotel kitchen, toured police and fire stations, visited a science laboratory, discovered their homes, their community, and hopefully something about themselves.

Our Cub Scouts still find time to play Basketball, Little League, Soccer, Hockey and many other sports or activities outside of scouting.
If Cub Scouting sounds like a good fit for your boy and family, contact us today!

Note: Like many youth focused organizations, scouting depends on its adult leaders, all of whom are volunteers.  Your involvement is a key to scouting's success, for the benefit of your child and the group as a whole.

OUR HISTORY

For many decades the City of South Burlington was home to two Cub Scout packs, Pack 656 and Pack 22.
In 2016, Pack 22 and 656 joined up to form one large Cub Scout Pack.  Both pack numbers were added together to form 678.
Our Pack is currently sponsored by the South Burlington Rotary.
